I have referred many clients to Miles for sober living. Milestone is basic sober living houses. A great way to stay sober living in a group home setting. Plenty of freedom to work and choose your meetings while enjoy some structure and accountability. Personally I lived in sober living for over 2 years after primary treatment. I used the time to complete college, buy a good car, get furniture for my own place. I believe an addict is ready for their own apartment only when they can pay 1st and last + the month payments on their own. So they have gainful employment, and a car to get to their job. Families do the recovering addict a disservice to enable them to move beyond what they are ready to do for themselves.
