I went to Promises West Los Angeles in March of 1993. My experience there was great. My counselor, Shannon Santhon, was tough on me when I needed it and really helped me to re-think some of my behaviors. The varied types of 12 step meetings we attended in many different areas of Los Angeles helped to show me that an addict is an addict is an addict. No matter where we come from generally we all have the same feelings. I made some wonderful friends that are in my life even to this day. The follow up to the in-house treatment at sober living was a needed addition for me, and I am glad I had the opportunity to participate. It is 2014 and I have been sober since 1993. I am now a happy, productive member of society thanks to the tools given to me at Promises West Los Angeles. Thank you!

As treatment centers go, Promises ranks at the top. I have been to a number of facilities and have received the greatest amount of knowledge and tools needed to work a serious program at Promises. They have shown me what it means to be a part of a sober community. The staff is amazing. They found a way to get this stubborn addict motivated and involved in my own treatment. They saved my life. I would recommend Promises to anyone seeking treatment and having a hard time staying sober on thei own.

I am truly grateful for my stay at Promises. I've been to a few programs in the past and was shocked at the level of compassionate care I recieved from all levels of staff. Before entering Promises I was in a terrifying space, I saw no light for myself at the end of the tunnel. After a few weeks, I don't carry the same negative outlook on my future I had coming in. I am thankful for the commitment the treatment team made to me to put me in the best possible place to recover.

Promises was an amazing experience. I gained a lot of knowledge to help me maintain my sobriety, built healthy relationships, and created path that is destined for success. I reccommend this program to anyone who needs help. The staff at promises are helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food is great which is a definite bonus. I owe my life to promises and will forever be grateful.

Promises was an amazing treatment center that has changed my outlook on sobriety. I have been through many treatments before and Promises has been the only one to help recovery stick. I reccomend this 30 day inpatient program to all who even slightly think they may have an addiciton problem, because if it this place was able to help and change the mess that I was, I know it can do the same for many others.
