It is not possible to sing higher praises than I have for Clearview Treatment Programs, and that includes their programs, their facilities and their staff, as well as the owner. As far as I am concerned, Clearview Treatment Programs is the best in the nation for what they treat – substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health problems, and personality disorders. Based on my experience, there is no better place. They have the best well-trained staff and are known for dealing with the most challenging clients. What I love about Clearview is the astounding successes they have with their clients. I have seen the most dramatic of positive changes come from the clients who have gone to Clearview Treatment than I have anywhere else, and I don’t say that lightly. People who suffer with addictions and also personality disorders or other mental health issues sometimes deeply feel hopeless that they will ever really change. I am floored by the recovery of people who feel seemingly hopeless move through their illness and their struggles to the other side and create recovery and a new sense of self at Clearview Treatment. The staff are far more savvy and educated than what is typically found in similar facilities. They are all licensed or credentialed, professional and generous and warm at heart. I have only great admiration for each of them. As well, the groups at Clearview are such a valuable part of their programs. The environment is also undoubtedly far nicer than similar facilities. They are always neat, clean and nicely decorated. You can tell they really care about the clients comfort.

Clearview is without question one of the very best treatment centers, if not the best I have experienced. The owner is actually a therapist himself, unlike many treatment centers owners who are just business people that don’t really care about the people they help. The clinical director is a licensed psychologist and in my opinion, is top notch. He is super knowledgeable about addiction and mental health recovery and is a kind and caring individual. In all my dealings with him, he has acted in a very professional manner and cares deeply about the program and all the clients. The therapists are all master’s or doctoral level with the highest level of training in the therapies they utilize. The Clearview psychiatrist is also amazing and a super expert in addictions. She is one of the best I have ever worked and great with medications and treatment. She is also a caring individual who takes time to get to know you. What I really love about the program is that they teach useful skills that can be used after completing the program. After finishing the program, clients are able to have better relationships with family and friends and are better able to manage their emotions and be productive in life. Clients come out of Clearview with solid recovery and a new perspective on life. Another thing that sets Clearview apart is there commitment to providing the most up-to-date, cutting edge therapies. They actually provide professional trainings and workshops to therapists and doctors in the community. The facilities that house the programs are another great plus. They are all very nice homes in a lovely neighborhood and are neat and clean. You can tell they really try to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all. All in all, Clearview is by far one of the most professional and competent programs I have experienced. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Going through the treatment program at Clearview was a complete game changer for me. The staff really helped address the underlying issues of my substance abuse and also really focused on mental health issues. They provided a safe and structured environment where I was able to focus on working on and achieving my own goals, which felt amazing. I feel like I learned and accomplished so much at the residential program and through the different levels of care that I received through Clearview. My individual sessions with my therapist were extremely helpful and all the groups spot on. Exactly what I needed. All the staff were very caring and dedicated to supporting me throughout the process. The director was also super helpful and spent a good deal of time with me when I needed it. They really worked with my individual needs to help me grow in ways I never thought possible. Also, the psychiatrist was amazing. She helped me like nobody before and the staff took great care with medications. The program is located in Venice, which is a great because it's close to a lot of cool night meetings and on the weekends the staff took us out on pleasant day trips. The facilities are kept very clean, while still feeling cozy, which was pretty important to me. The food provided was also excellent. If I could give Clearview more stars, I would. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

I am writing this review because of positive experience I had with the Clearview addiction and dual diagnosis program. I am a parent of a child who unfortunately has been through many programs. I have suffered many years watching my child go in and out of programs failing to string any amount of time without using drugs and alcohol. I became hopeless trying to find programs that would meet her needs. Finally, Clearview was recommended by two therapists and we decided based on their expert opinion to send her there. Clearview is truly a wonderful program. Their program is very comprehensive and features a residential and outpatient program. The residential program is located in a very clean and safe part of the city (Venice, California). My child connected to the caring staff who helped her overcome many issues. Not only does the staff have Ph.D and masters level education with years of experience, but they also provide a welcoming and safe environment for their clients. In addition, we finally got an accurate diagnosis from the Clearview psychiatrist and the medication regiment turned out to be perfect. All was handled expertly. Overall, it is by far the best program I have seen. Clearview gave me back my child. I would highly recommend Clearview to any of my family and friends who is struggling with addiction or behavioral problems.

Right off, let me say that if it weren’t for Clearview Treatment Programs, I wouldn’t be writing this review, as I would, most likely, be in jail or dead. It’s no exaggeration to say that this Program not only saved my life, but taught me how to live in a whole new way. Five years ago I was diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder and was using a variety of drugs on a very regular basis. I was unemployable and unable to maintain healthy relationships. One by one, my family and friends avoided me, blocked my calls and unfriended me both in person and online. My life became a regular routine of addicted related behavior, living in my car and showering at the Gym. Clearview treatment Programs was not the first rehab I tried (actually, it was the fifth). For one reason or another I always found something wrong with every program and never lasted more than a month. I had pretty much lost all hope of ever having a life. Then, a strange, wonderful thing happened. I ran into an a person I met at another rehab who was now sober, happy and clearly had his life together. He told me (raved actually) about Clearview Treatment Programs. Thankfully I decided to check it out. It was my first good decision in a very long time. First thing I loved was that it was near the beach. The food was great, the accommodations were outstanding, and most importantly, the staff was amazing. From the therapists to the techies, everyone was extremely professional, caring, solution focused, wise and seemed to know me better than I knew myself. I got plenty of individual treatment, group sessions, and they changed my mind about 12 step programs by bringing us to the coolest meetings I’d ever been to. They even took us on field trips over the weekends. I completed the residential program (a first for me) and transitioned to their outpatient treatment. Fast forward, today I’m still sober, finished my education and found my calling (I actually get paid to help other people). I’ve got great friends, I live by the beach (in an apartment, not a car) and my family keeps telling me how proud they are of who I’ve become. Oh, and I just got engaged to an amazing woman who loves and admires me. Thank you Clearview for giving me an incredible life which just keeps getting better. And as for the future… bring it on, I’m ready.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with the Clearview addiction and dual diagnosis program. I’ve had experience with a few recovery treatment programs, and I feel that this place is by far the best. The director, therapists, and staff really care and help the clients overcome major issues. Their expertise in addictions and mental health problems are far and above all the other programs I have experienced. I was impressed with the fact that all the clinical staff are Ph.D. or master’s level with multiple years of experience. Another thing that sets Clearview apart is the different levels of care they provide. Once you complete the residential program, you can transfer to the day program or intensive outpatient program. This is immensely helpful to make a smooth transition back to everyday life. The personal growth that I achieved at Clearview is truly remarkable. Not only is the treatment the best, but the locations and houses are very nice, as well as clean and comfortable. They really try hard to provide a comfortable environment to heal and do their absolute best to make the clients feel safe and secure. Another great thing about Clearview is the area. It is in Venice and close to the beach and Santa Monica. Clients get to go to lots of great meetings in the evenings and the program staff takes clients on nice outings on the weekends. They really think of everything to make your stay comfortable, but put the treatment first. I would highly recommend Clearview to any of my friends or family who is struggling with addiction or behavioral problems.

As a DBT Clinician, Clearview Treatment Center has been an excellent referral for many of our patients needing residential/in-patient treatment. Their clinical team is excellent and extremely collaborative to work with. The patients we have sent have been very happy with the quality of their care.
