Great beer, great atmosphere, great place to watch a game. But the steak. Yikes. I understand that some people enjoy the flavor of JUST cooked meat, but some salt and pepper would have done the ribeye wonders. I'll probably order it again and just tell them to give it a little spice action. Otherwise, I love this place.

We had a delicious dinner here The menu had enough options and the service was really great. Nice staff. I loved the vibe of the place and was impressed to find a nice place to eat after a long road trip from Denver.

Travelling through Alamosa, it was going to be a short night. Google Maps recommended San Luis Valley Brewing Company, and we were extremely pleased by what we found. First, Madi greeted us with a warm and friendly smile; she let us choose a table of our liking and did her best to take good care of us. I've found that brew places tend to have great beer and OK food, but it was the reverse at SLVBC. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and my brew was good, too.

The kitchen was backed up and we waited a while for our food. I ordered the Cajun Pasta and the andouille was overcooked. It was burnt and hard as a rock. I only ate half of the pasta and didn't even bother taking the other half with me. The only good thing I can say about this place is that our waitress wasn't rude. She was apologetic about the long wait time.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. While the beer was just OK, the food was great. I highly recommend the ribs. They are meaty and tender. The side salad is excellent. My wife is more of a dessert fan, and she was very happy with the brownie sundae.

Great place to kick back and eat pizza! Good selection of beers and top notch pepperoni pizza rolls.

Food was good, but the restaurant had only two tables and we did not get very good service, but she was nice.

Fun local experience! Two of us - we sat at the bar and each tried a beer. The bartender was really really nice and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

The pizza was excellent - we had a buffalo chicken style with BBQ after a long hike and it was perfect. Simple atmosphere, nice service!

We went for an early dinner. Christian was a great server. We had awesome food and beer. Later we went back for a late night drink and Evan was a great bartender. I recommend this place

My experience was ok. The beer was pretty good, (the root beer is also fantastic) and the food was tasty. What really pulled down the score was the service. (to be fair, I was annoyed, so I probably noticed more than I would normally) First, I was waiting quite a while before the waitress came to greet me, and she explained that they were 'slammed', yet the room was only half full. Granted, I don't know their staffing level, and it could have been busy for the number of servers. Next, the wait for the salad was really long, as it arrived just before the entree. And there was a rotten tomato on the salad. Finally, she didn't refill my water at all, and didn't ask if I was done before clearing the dishes. (I was done, but I would have liked the courtesy of the question). So, to summarize, tasty food and beer, but weak service.

Wide variety of good pizza. Great stopover point on the way to South Fork.

The pizza was fantastic! Much better than most pizzas I've had. My only complaint was that the service wasn't too great. We were the only table in the restaurant and the server never came to refill our drinks or really check on us. I am definitely willing to come here again next time I'm passing through Alamosa!

Best pizza in Alamosa, hands down. I think I've tried every pizza on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Most definitely recommend.

The pizza here was great and the service was super friendly and helpful. Though I wouldn't say it's cozy, it does have a charming ambience. I found the prices to be very reasonable for what you get. I had a fabulous calzone that was $8, and I couldn't even eat half of it. I got two meals for $8, and I think that's awesome. Everyone that ate with me also had leftovers, and we all agreed that the food was great. I highly recommend this restaurant!
