I enjoy PAX. The groups are small and effective. The community is supportive. The accountability factor is great.

I went through pax and I loved all of the therapists and group facilitators. I thought they had an awesome staff and I was very happy with my treatment. they went above and beyond to help me. I can definitely say I did the most growing at Pax as a person dealing with addiction. I was the most motivated to stay clean after my stay there and I definitely keep in close contact with the original staff who first showed me the way to a better life.

You get what you put in and since I was ready to put in the work necessary to make this a "one and done" experience, I got just that. My therapist, Frank (also the program director), was encouraging, open-minded, and a strong advocate for me while I navigated the challenges of early recovery. Every place has it's issues, but it's how it responds to those issues that demonstrate character and an attitude of excellence. Anytime I had a problem I felt comfortable approaching management, expressing my concerns and finding solutions that sometimes had us all think outside of the box. One of the best things about Pax is they take feedback very seriously and constantly grow as a result of it. The Pax I went to was a much different one than the one I left. They seemed to grow as the clients grew, becoming a better, more client-focused facility along the way. It wasn't a perfect experience... But it's not supposed to be. A comfort zone is a nice place, but nothing grows there. Good therapists, vocational support, grocery/AA runs, personal transportation assistance when possible, and staff that truly cares give this place top marks in my book. Now just start an alumni program!!

Coming here was probably the best choice I could have made for my recovery. The staff is very professional, relateable, and willing. I don't think I could have made it through recovery without Pax. I would recommend this place to anyone.
