This was a winnable location where women could get help with substance abuse programs. It has a proven track record of giving women a second chance to turn their lives around, so what does the state of Florida do? They closed it down as a means of budget cutting. But, you can be absolutely sure that pork barrel projects weren't cut or shuttered. More women and children are incarcerated in Florida than any other state.
