Bhs Center at LSSI is a great place to begin a life of sobriety. I went there 2ce myself (wasn't ready the 1st time) & after maintaing my sobriety for some time, I began college to become a Substance Abuse Counselor & then got a job at LSSI as a Client Technician (aka: overpaid babysitter). The ONLY caution I give is this - if you're going to go inpatient at LSSI, try to remember that the staff there is mostly in recovery as well, which means they're not perfect. It's easy to expect perfection, but perfection doesn't exist. They're human & they will make mistakes. Go lightly on them & trust they are going as lightly as they can on YOU. They are all there to help you, in their own imperfect way!
