Unbelievable experience. Staff is warm, available, and truly caring. Each one of them is wholly invested in each clients' recovery, and it is made clear by their unwavering support and the help they so willingly give. Would not be sober today without their tremendous guidance. Groups are well planned and varied, offering art, music, meditation, along with normal group therapy. Individualized care for each client in addition to the groups. Music professional brought in for special music/creativity group. Yoga master brought in for weekly meditation. Art groups run by legitimate artists who bring out the best in each client. Many clinicians and staff members are in recovery as well, making their relatibility to the clients as real as ever. Beautiful facility, with everything one could ask for. Stocked kitchen, comfortable lounging areas, ping pong table, various musical instruments available for leisure. Psychiatrist on premises, with regular meetings scheduled with each client. Family therapist on premises as well; recovery for the entire family in one facility. The program is 12-step based and therefore is deeply rooted in the truths of AA. Clients are strongly encouraged to attend AA meetings regularly as well. Extracurricular activities include field days, open mic nights, and trips to art exhibits around the city. I never could have imagined such a beautiful and well-rounded program to help me get my life in order. I am so grateful to have been able to access this one of a kind treatment center. Any adolescent or young adult who is in need of help should knock down NYCFL's doors and get into their treatment program. It works. Keep coming back!

The Center for Living is undeniably the premiere intensive outpatient in New York City treating adolescents for substance abuse and mental health concerns. The team is comprised of multi dimensional, licensed clinicians and Doctors who truly put client care first. As the owner of an adolescent treatment center myself I would highly recommend John Lieberman and his team.

The center for living changed my life. I would not be where i am today without the support of the incredible clinicians and honest and kind hearted clients at this place. Being someone who has attended multiple treatment centers and seen countless therapists I can say that the Center for Living has been the most helpful and affective of them all. I would and have recommended many people to seek treatment here. Jared, one of the primary therapists, has been so genuine in truly wanting the best for my well being and has been the most helpful therapist I have ever had. I can't thank this place and the environment they created enough for the life that they have given me. My sobriety is richer than ever because of the New York Center for Living.

My experience as a client of New York Center for Living was undeniably one of the most important parts of my success in early sobriety. While under the care of their highly trained clinical staff, I was provided with the comfort of a safe therapeutic environment. At CFL I was surrounded by highly motivated young adults who were eager to work on navigating the challenges we faced in early sobriety as a team. I've been through various IOP programs and can earnestly attest that CFL offers a unique and all encompassing program, tailored to my individual needs at every step. I would, and have, suggested this program to numerous individuals still struggling with addiction, in confidence that CFL will facilitate their recovery. To this day I maintain relationships with my past group members and we continue to support each other, even years later. I have so much gratitude for my time in this program, with their help I am able to live a happy and sober life today.

I have had the opportunity to witness the evolution of the New York Center for Living over the last few years, and as a mental health professional, I can say that I am impressed with what I see. As a representative of a sister not-for-profit program in the community, I can say that we have yet to be disappointed with any referral that we have made there. Their staff are well-trained, fair-minded licensed clinical professionals who give their all to their clients and families. I highly recommend the NY Center for Living for adolescent and young adult outpatient services.
