Very disappointed they do not give patient discharge summary. They gave AVS..after visit info but no record of what happened while you were an inpatient. I.e, no doctor's name, diagnosis, exit prognosis etc. Policies are strictly siloed for excluding patient from process. They seem only concerned with communications with the insurance company I.e.,$. Have completely eliminated the Human Excellent staffing though minimal. Sad

I had a total hip replacement surgery at OSU East and the staff couldn’t have been any more kind, professional and caring. Nursing staff, physical therapy, housekeeping, food service were all excellent. If and when I need additional surgery I will certainly not hesitate to return.

I was just discharged today an hour ago. This place saved my life. Going in I was suicidal after all that comes from a 7 year oxycodone addiction that destroyed my 20's. Going in I wasn't sure I wanted to stop even though my addiction had me ready to die. I felt so much better within an hour. The staff was so kind and not judgemental like I had feared (most nurses/doctors don't like opiate addicts). But for this program to work you HAVE to go to ALL your groups, participate. Don't lay in your bed the whole time like most did during my stay. The groups are what convinced me that this doesn't have to be my life. I'm now about to check into an inpatient rehab center for 3-6 months and today I feel like a normal human. They gave me meds that took away all my withdrawal symptoms while there and meds to take with me. I'm not being dramatic when I say they saved my life. Thanks to them I finally realized I can beat this addiction

People need to understand Talbot hall is a detox facility and not a rehab. And they should understand the difference. Their job at detox is to get you thru the the sickness when all the bad stuff s exiting your body which really only take 3 day but some people need a couple more day. They also set you up with a recovery plan. Thing you need to do upon release to keep in recovery. After that it's up to you to move on with your recovery if that means going to and in patient rehab out our patient services. What ever it is you choose to do after detox depends if you are going to use again or not. If you just detox and have no plans of recovery after then more than likely your are going to use or pick up. So people if you love ones have used or picked up after leaving Talbot hall it's not because the staff or Talbot hall itself aare not doing their jobs. It because them as addicts are not doing their job in recovery plain and simple. Talbot hall gets you thru the major part of being sick and all that stuff and they also give you all kinds of references to recovery it's our jobs to use them references!

Highly recommend this facility!! If you are ready to be done with using and drinking it's a great start to recovery! My last visit there was in 2013. I haven't had to go back. Sobriety is beautiful!!!
