Located in Beaverton, Oregon, Western Psychological and offers treatment for Addiction, Alcohol Abuse and Drug Abuse. Our mission at Western Psychological and is to be the leading provider of quality care for addiction treatment in the country. We offer Intensive outpatient treatment, Outpatient and Regular outpatient treatment that are customized to suit the patients’ unique needs. In these treatment plans, we teach our patients to develop coping skills, identify relapse triggers, and rebuild their sense of self-worth and confidence. It’s within these coping skills that will ensure the success of an addict’s recovery, since they will be utilizing them both during treatment and once they return home after treatment is over. Our treatment approaches include Cognitive/behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy and Rational emotive behavioral therapy. At Western Psychological and, we believe that everyone has the ability to recover from their addiction, despite how severe their addiction may be. We strive to do everything in our power to show our patients that they can succeed in every facet of their life, not just in treatment. We treat Adolescents and accept Medicaid, plus many other insurances. We are here to help break the cycle of addiction so that our patients can live the life that they deserve.

Front desk greatly improved since a few years ago. My counselor is caring but all business. Location is seedy, but overall not bad.

The service for me was just fine. Sometimes the receptionists were kind of distant or rude. My psych guy got me on a medication that helped me, but my main problem was how they scheduled appointments. I ride trimet most of the time, so when I have to travel by bus for an hour and a half and I'm ten minutes late and must reschedule, then the next time I go there my appointment with the doc couldn't have lasted more than two minutes..and this was the SECOND time! Anyways, I don't go there any more and I'm doing wonderfully getting medicated the natural way. However I suppose if transportation isn't an issue for you than you will probably like the place more than I did, and I didn't hate it.

All of the counselors I have met have been great. However, if you have the unfortunate luck of having to work with the front desk it is hit or miss whether they'll be helpful or rude.

I have been going here for almost a year and I found it to be far better than any other place I went to. I don't know all of the councilors but I have Ashley and she is brilliant!
