I’ve been sober for almost one year and Phoenix House contributed to a lot of it with the love and support provided even after leaving treatment. They saw my potential when I couldn’t, stood by my side and never gave up. I couldn’t be more grateful for this treatment facility, it completely changed my life. I would recommend PH to anyone who has the desire to get clean and recover.

I was there in 2016 and it really depends of the group of people your going in with.I luckly got there when all the girls wanted to get help there was just a couple that didnt and ran away.It is not the staffs fault they run away they cant touch your child only give them advice. This is a 3-6month program and I would recommend it to anybody that needs help.I will not lie I did use when I got out but I only used 5 times. Then I found out I was pregnant now I use the strategies they showed me to stay away from drugs and now I cant even stand the smell of marijuana.THANK YOU 4 EVREYTHING!!!!!

As an addiction professional, I find some of these reviews to be quite disheartening, particularly because I know how untrue a lot of them are. Phoenix House (Austin) is a beacon of hope for struggling young adults and their families; their dedication to clinical excellence and client care is unparalleled. I trust this program and I am proud of the example they contribute to the reputation of treatment in Central Texas, which is the very best you'll find!

I went to Phoenix House March 2014, as well as December 2014. Both times presented the same solution, and yet I had a different experience the 2nd time. I wanted to go back to Phoenix House because I knew that the staff there cared for me, and they showed me the same care the 2nd time I enrolled! I want everybody to understand that reads this, TREATMENT DOES NOT KEEP YOU SOBER, if you're a drug addict/alcoholic. Treatment offers physical separation from drugs and alcohol. What this treatment facility did offer me was opportunity to get involved in a solution. People that are in the fellowship come every Tuesday and Thursday (like myself today) and spread the message. Phoenix house allows clients to be sponsored by individuals so that they can have an experience with recovery. Sure there were gangs and bullies while I was there, it's an adolescent treatment center. Can't expect these 13-17 year old kids to be perfect, 75% percent of the kids there don't even want to get sober. Yes, there will be drugs in a treatment center from time to time, welcome to addiction. It's not the treatments fault. Teenagers have their lifestyle when they come in, and it's up to them to let it go and take the next right step, and the staff is there for them when they want to! I owe my life to my parents for sending me here, because this place presented me recovery in various ways such as meetings, and allowing fellowship members to come down and speak and walk me through the steps. Today I sit here with almost 2 years of sobriety and I go back every Tuesday to Phoenix House to let these kids know that they can recover. Thank you Phoenix House. -Tyelur Watkins
