I cannot say enough good things about Cold Creek Lodge and Cold Creek Behavioral Health treatment facilities as a whole. In September my son over dosed on Xanax and alcohol. My sister had recommended Cold Creek Lodge for my son, because her son had gone there and had great success with fighting his addictions after being in inpatient (He has been out for 2 years and is very committed to being healthy and sober). I called the general number and this angel of a woman answered. Lana Sine kept me calm and assured me that they would help me figure out the insurance and get my son into treatment. I called Lana in tears on a Wednesday at 4:30pm by 6:30 she had my insurance approved and a bed was waiting for my son at Cold Creek Lodge in Brighton. We live in Steamboat Colorado, so we drove our son to Utah on Friday. For the two days before we got him to treatment, Lana walked me and my son through the process of what we needed to do and expect. She would answer every call with my 100’s of questions and every text with yet more questions. The whole time telling me everything was going to be OK. In the hardest time of my life I had the most peace knowing that the Staff at Cold Creek deeply cared about helping people with addictions and helping their families cope with a loved one’s addiction. The staff at the Lodge is amazing. His councilor was Michelle (Micky) Wickersham and he connected so well with her. He is not a person that likes to open up on an emotional level and she earned his trust and he really liked talking to her and he would say “I will only talk about that with my councilor” or “whatever Micky suggests, I will do”. Newel was our family counselor and we would do calls with him once a week. The thing I loved about Newel is that I could talk to him anytime (I did not have to wait for the weekly call) and he would answer my questions and help me understand the issues that we talked about during are weekly call or helping me to understand addiction. We visited on one of the Sunday visits and got to meet the councilors on that day and the cook for that day. These individuals are so professional and so caring. They made us feel comfortable and talked to us about the facility and the day to day activities. Chef Ashley made sure we had tea and snacks. Everyone at the Lodge said her food was amazing!

I decided to come work at Cold Creek about 6 months ago. It has been one of the best career moves I have ever made. The owner thinks about every decision he makes and how it may impact each client the company serves. I have yet to see him make a decision that negatively impacts clients. Each business decision is made with intention and for the betterment of the program. The sober living housing is some of the nicest in Utah and without a doubt the most affordable. I am involved with many aspects of the business and the attention that goes into the programing is top notch compared to most programs. Wonderful work atmosphere, solid clinical staff, and all 6 facilities are absolutely beautiful. Working at Cold Creek has improved my quality of life 10 fold. Work life balance is amazing and to truly be valued as an employee is priceless.

Thoroughly enjoyed my residential treatment here with cold creek. All staff accommodated to my needs and were all very professional and helpful. Camey (my counselor) was without a shadow of a doubt amazing at her job and had taught and helped me tremendously through my recovery process. Ricky as my therapist was also outstanding at his job. As for night staff Nate, Brett and Pat are awesome employees as well as very professional.

I thoroughly enjoy this program. The staff was great and I enjoyed their company and knowledge. I like how they are not AA based and how they incorporated other treatments/activities. I will definitely recommend this program to anyone who needs it.

What an amazing facility! I am so grateful for the family program and the help they gave my son. My son went to a few other rehab facilities before going to Cold Creek and he said within the first week of being at Cold Creek he got more help in that time then the 30 and 60 days at the other treatment centers he went to. He continued with their IOP and Sober living and I cant tell you how impressed we are with these. This program cares for their clients and the clients families. They do all they can to set you up for success and to continue a life being clean and sober.

I really can't thank the staff and the mountains here enough. I've tried 4 residential treatments prior to Cold Creek and none compare. Not only is the staff to client ratio incredible, but the individual genuine care is beyond measure. Here I was able to work through the root of my issue with Alcohol, come to know and love my true self, and begin to dream for a new positive; awake; and alive sober existence. I greatly appreciate the many different modalities used, not only twelve step; thank God. I grew mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and became physically healthier each day. If you have struggled with a drug or alcohol problem I STRONGLY encourage you to consider Cold Creek. You will be lead through a comprehensive 30 day program and absolutely set up for success though IOP and Sober Living upon exit, here in Utah or back in your home town. Best of wishes to all seeking help and a great thanks to all those at Cold Creek, Whit.

Great treatment program. The staff and clients there are all great. Counselors are all very helpful and non-judgmental about anything you have done. I feel like everything I learned there is going to be very helpful in the future for years to come for me.

If you have been through other treatment programs in the past and are still dealing with the disease of addiction. Cold Creek is the answer and should be the next phone call you make. You won't regret it.

If I hadn't chosen Cold Creek as my residential treatment facility I don't think I would have been able to finish my treatment. I came here thinking I had the answers & knew what I needed to do to stop using. I came to understand through individual and group therapy that it was okay to talk about the past & open up to people I could trust. I would recommend this facility to anyone hurting from addiction, I truly feel like I was given a second chance with this place.

Cold creek has been a great experience for me. I have been to numerous treatment centers in the past and none of them have helped me very much and I have always went back to heroin and meth after a short period of time. The people at cold creek really care about your recovery and focus on putting you in the best position to succeed in the future. The counselors are great and the support staff is great is as well. They take you to do outdoor activities and try to help you find positive things you can do for yourself when you get out. They also have a great sober living program that you can do after you complete inpatient. I would definitely recommend cold creek for anyone that wants to get help or is looking for somewhere for a loved one to go.

This place was amazing!! I went into not wanting to go and came out with a new amazing life. The counselors were very personable, and staff was very helpful. We got to experience so many fun things outdoors that I would never get to do anywhere else. If you need help with addiction this is the place to go!
