Can't say good enough things about them, they literally saved my life! Jan Leland was so helpful to me -- I highly recommend her!

It seems to be human nature to dwell more on the negative rather than the positive. Plus, it's been said that we relate negative experiences to an average of 7 people but positive experiences to only an average of 2 people (I have no idea whether these numbers are statistically valid). And because several of the Google Reviews here stand in sharp contrast to my experience with AACS, I've decided to add one myself in the hopes of balancing the scales a bit. Over the past six or seven years, I have seen Jan Leland a few times (generally for just a few sessions) for what I call "tune-ups. (As a person with a Master's degree in Counseling, I have long believed that almost everyone at some point in their lives will benefit from counseling, and I'm quite open about the fact that I've been smart enough to seek out this kind of support when I need it.) Jan is terrific in every way. She is caring, authentic, and deeply insightful. My guess is that Jan receives a high number of referrals from people who have worked with her, as word of mouth is by far the best testimony for quality of service. I know that since I first worked with Jan, I've recommended her to lots of people. When telling people about Jan, I always sing her highest praises. She has quite literally changed my life. So if you're looking for a good therapist, call Jan. And let's all try to ramp up the number of times we share positive news or reviews! Goodness knows the world needs it.
