Pomarri Substance Abuse Recovery Center is an outpatient center in Orem, Utah, that helps adult men and women who are addicted to alcohol and drug. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and day care are just two of the services that the center provides to meet the specific needs of each client. Pomarri's special classes are especially designed to help women who are pregnant. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Motivational Interviewing are just some of the evidence-based therapies used at the center. They are all meant to help people deal with the problems that lead to addiction and find better ways to cope. Furthermore, Pomarri provides teaching and life skills training in addition to these types of therapy to help clients get better and stay better. The center also includes improving family systems as part of its care plans because it knows how important family relationships are to recovery.
