Established as a premier provider of outpatient treatment services across several sites, CODAC Behavioral Healthcare was founded in 1971. The hospital, located in Cranston, Rhode Island, specializes in providing adults with mental health and substance use disorders with all-encompassing care. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has granted CODAC Behavioral Healthcare its accreditation, demonstrating its dedication to upholding the highest standards of care.
In addition to offering a variety of services, this facility offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is intended to help patients manage their withdrawal symptoms and make a long-lasting recovery. Apart from MAT, CODAC provides customized counseling services to meet the specific needs of each patient. Additionally, holistic therapies including therapeutic massage and Acu-Detox ear acupuncture are offered to supplement traditional treatment modalities and improve overall health.
The CODAC Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) lasts anywhere from four to six weeks, and each week, at least nine hours of group and individual therapy are needed. This program is intended for people who don't need residential care but still need organized assistance. At the start of treatment, every patient receives a thorough examination. Thereafter, annual evaluations are conducted to verify the patient's continued development and make any required modifications to treatment plans.
Apart from the IOP, CODAC provides a general outpatient program that allows for flexible, continuous care for people at different phases of their recovery process.
