I just love working at Dallas Behavioral H.H. and the most rewarding part of working here is putting smiles on patients faces. I treat people just like I would like to be treated, attend to their needs, listen without judgment, & give positive feedback. I simply put myself in their shoes and pray God guides me with the right words to say to each individual. #Unit4

This hospital and their staff saved my life. Of course not everything was perfect and the food was a little bit like cafeteria food but it is a cafeteria after all. I was there because I needed help and I walked out a person ready to face and overcome my problems. Thank you for caring....you truly made a difference in my life.

I was just at Dallas behavior hospitals on July 31, 2018. My name is Terri Lightford my daughter brionne Washington was a patient there she was missing from my home state Nevada the staff there notified me so I flew to Dallas to get my daughter to no avail. But the staff was kind and patient, I spoke with the director Jesus. Ms Kendall And Laeile and Reuben forgive my spelling, they offered me plane fare and taxi cab fare to get back to the airport. I truly appreciate caring people in the world today especially when it comes to mental health care people don't understand how hard your job is so I wanted to thank you all for your help on my behalf. A grieving Mother who has not given up hope!, Again Thanks, Love Terri

My step son means the world to me he recently got into trouble because of a friend of his convincing him to do drugs and act out. I went to a fair a few months back and kept this hospitals brochure, I am grateful I brought him to this place because of where he is at now. Getting him to Dallas behavioral was a struggle, as he did not want to go, but then again who would want to go to a psych Hospital. So I am so grateful

I have had bipolar disorder for most of my life. I was brought in by police. I stayed for 8 days. The intake process was not good but my stay overall was happy.

Great place, besides being a non smoking facility. My nurses on unit 4 were really nice. They really showed attention and care. I walked in voluntarily, stayed for 5 days. Thank you !!

Yeah not sure why the negative stuff. I spent four days here. Not pleasent to be in a psych ward, but I was in two others in DFW that was not as nice as here. They have a nice courtyard, music therapist was so cool so was art therapy person. People were genuinely nice and truly kind to me. Sorry if others had a not so good experience. My advise always get people’s names

I do not understand why this place has any bad reviews. My son told me if you go in there and do what is asked of you, participate when you are supposed to and do not be disrespectful and act out that you will be treated good and with respect. This place has been so wonderful with my 15 yr old son. He said the nurse's treat him excellent and are always willing to help him with anything he needs and the food is good. Any time I call no matter the reason they always answer the phone and answer any of my questions and and let me speak to my son as long as it is not during therapy or bed time. The nurse's would even give him extra phone time when he would call me. Every time I have been there the staff is friendly and the facility is very clean. If you or your child need help I would highly recommend this place. I just want to thank Dallas Behavioral hospital for helping my son get back on track!!!!!
