Overview

Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions, Inc., a former prominent provider of addiction treatment services in Northern New York, has formally merged with Transitional Living Services of Northern New York as of July 1, 2024. THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. is the new name under which the two organizations now operate. The merger has enabled THRIVE to offer a more comprehensive array of services to individuals who are grappling with addiction, mental health challenges, and other behavioral health issues by combining the strengths and resources of both organizations. THRIVE, which is situated in Watertown, New York, with additional locations in Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties, provides services to individuals of all genders and ages.

THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. provides a comprehensive selection of programs that are tailored to accommodate the diverse requirements of its clients. For those who require flexible support while maintaining daily responsibilities, outpatient services are available. These services encompass medication prescribing and management, care coordination, individual, group, and family counseling, and screenings. Furthermore, THRIVE offers residential programs that provide more intensive support, providing short- and long-term residential care in a supervised, home-like environment. These residential programs are accessible to adults, adolescents, and children who are grappling with substance use or mental health issues.

The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) is one of THRIVE's specialized offerings, which offers comprehensive care to individuals who are battling opioid addiction. The program provides FDA-approved medications, including buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone, to assist individuals in their recovery. The OTP encompasses support services, behavioral therapy, individual, group, and family counseling, in addition to medication-assisted treatment, with the objective of promoting long-term recovery. Peer services, which are managed by Certified Recovery Peer Advocates, are also accessible. These services provide non-clinical support, mentoring, advocacy, and connections to community resources.

THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. is entirely accredited and certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS OMH) and the New York Office of Addiction Supports and Services (NYS OASAS). It also has designations from the New York State Department of Health for its Specialty Mental Health Program and its Opioid Overdose Prevention Program. THRIVE's dedication to providing effective, evidence-based treatment to individuals in need and upholding the highest standards of care is emphasized by these certifications.
