The Maternity and Labor unit are simply amazing! Delivering our baby girl there was perfect, they helped us through everything. Would highly reccomend this hospital to bring your little joy into this world.

Update: Once I got a room, the care was prompt, the staff was nice and everything was great. Everything but the wait was fantastic. I have been here, in the system, for nearly three hours. They have REPEATEDLY assured me that I have not been called yet, despite the fact that I've seen people who arrived with me and a long time after me put into a room before I was. I'm beyond angry and trying not to lose my frustration and I feel as though all I'm getting in response is ignorance or snide comments. I don't normally go to Banner Thunderbird and I've tried to be overly patient but I feel like all I've done is waste my time and test my patience.

They have the best nurse I’ve ever seen so far. Her name is JEANNE and she helped me at the ER room. She is really professional, very nice, patient, serious, and great listener. It looks like she really likes to help people not just to get paid. I wish all nurses become like her. To be fair, Other staff members were nice too. Thank you Jeanne. God bless you.

I love everything about this medidal center! My families go to for an emergency. My youngest will be born here & the few times I had to come in the maternity ward they are always so gentle, informative, caring. Ive only had one issue with one nurse in the maternity ward named Jen. Had her twice - she was very rude, rolled her eyes at my grandma, never even let me fill her in on what was going on or how I was concerned. I now let them know upon arrival she is NOT allowed in my room. They respect my patients rights. Other than that everyone is so friendly, the entire medical plaza is clean, cafeteria has really good food. You are in good hands if you have to come here pregnant, for an emergency, admit your children, whatever the reason this is the place to go & to be well taken care of!

Excellent care. Was in labor and went to ER because I could not make it to St Joseph's. Delivered my baby within 20 mins and entire time nurses, nurses aides and doctors were caring, quick and very supportive during delivery. During the stay, the nurses were amazing. With the exception of a few staff members who were rude, I would recommend this hospital to family and friends. A few bad apples can't spoil the bunch. Every staff member from doctor to kitchen or housekeeping was friendly and always asked if we needed anything else. Would have loved to get more help with breastfeeding while I was a patient, but otherwise was a great experience. 😊😊

I had my first baby here 2 weeks ago , and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived I felt that me and my baby were cared for. I had four different nurses during my time in labor and delivery and I wish I remembered all their names because they were all amazing! The two nurses that were in the room while I was getting my epidural helped tremendously I don’t think i could’ve been so calm without their amazing spirits there to keep mine up. I do remember Janessa (I hope that’s how to spell it) she was the nurse that in the room during the delivery and she was perfect. She was kind , and very supportive. She actually ended up delivering my daughter basically on her own because my baby didn’t wanna wait a couple minutes for the doctor. Thank you everyone and anyone that I interacted with , you guys made this such an amazing start to being to mother.

Had my baby here on May 11, 2018. All my nurses were extremely nice and very helpful with every need or request I had. Every shift rotation, each nurse had made reports to the new nurse coming in making it 10 times easier on us patients. A special thank you to all the nurses who helped me through the new process of becoming a new mom! Great staff! Great service! Hoping to be able to keep having my babies at this hospital!
