Can't imagine a better place to get help. The staff really cares about you and your well-being, and they're great at their jobs.

Tremendous amount of individual attention from a very dedicated staff. The small facility felt like a home rather than cold and clinical. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met and that I was happy, healthy, and safe. There was also an extremely talented chef on site who prepared healthy and delicious meals. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs help.

Godsend. My son is not only sober now, but he is married with a job and a baby on the way. He almost died, we tried rehab 9 different times and several locations. Words cannot describe the transformation this place had on him. It was literally night and day. I hope that if you need help, you will read this and get the help you need as soon as you can. Ignore the bad review from Sonya. She works at their competition at a rehab in Gulf Breeze where our family met her at admissions. We had an absolutely horrible experience and left. This is a wonderful place and shame on you for trying to stop them from saving lives. At least try to hide your identity if you are going to write a fake review, I didn't use my real name to protect our name. Speaking of which they are great at keeping anonymity. There are no signs in the front, no uniforms, the whole place just looks like a summer vacation with guests. I cry when I think of how I can actually call him now and he answers the phone, we can carry on a conversation, we can have him over at holidays. Its been 4 years and he is still sober. We have our son back. Thank you Bayshore.

Going to Bayshore Retreat was the best decision I ever made. I started using drugs at a young age and by the time I was 22 I was completely hopeless and didn't see any chance at living a normal sober life. I am from Philadelphia and a family friend referred me to Bayshore in February 2015 and I have been sober ever since. I received the absolute best care from the staff and there was only 6 clients there which made it comfortable and I got a lot of attention to help me with all of my problems. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to get help.

There was a time in my life where everything was unmanageable. I was drinking and doing drugs to the point that I had lost three jobs, had been shocked back to life with a defibrillator twice, and almost divorced. I had no idea what to do with myself, nor did I have any idea how I was ever going to get my life back together. I heard of Bayshore Retreat from a friend. I like to vacation in Destin, so I thought maybe I should give it a try some day. Of course I didn't at first, which costed me yet another job. I saw my wife cry for the last time, so I called finally. I cannot tell you how glad I am today that I did. One of the owners, Jeff, came to my house and took me there personally. From then, I had developed skills I never knew I had through counseling, groups, and various life skills. I actually had an underlying reason for my abuse. After we identified the cause, we worked through it. Along with the mental aspect of things was the physical, I was able to get the drugs (and even alcohol) completely out of my system through detox and sauna. Not to mention the massages, fine dining quality meals three times a day (no joke, they have a personal chef there), the yoga, the dinner outings, fishing, and huge house with plenty to do. Mentally and physically I was restored. It was not easy, but being in that kind of environment certainly helped. Being allowed to have my cell phone and laptop REALLY helped (it helped get me there at least). I am now sitting at my desk at my new career job that I worked hard to get using an aftercare plan I made with the staff. When writing the plan I never knew it actually would happen or work, but it did. Words cannot describe the feeling gratitude I get when I can go home can kiss my wife goodnight and wake up without a hangover, working at a job I love, and being able to communicate with my parents who finally trust me again. Even though Bayshore would say I owe it to myself for putting in the work, they spearheaded me into the right direction and I really couldn’t have done any of this without them. That is the God’s honest truth. I got a second chance at life, and if you are reading this review, you owe it to yourself to call if you know anyone who is struggling. It was the best decision I have ever made.

Great facility. Very small client ratio so you get a lot of individualized treatment. Fitness, nutrition, rest very integral part of recovery program. Time to reflect and get your mind straight. Highly recommend.

Bayshore is absolutely amazing. They take a holistic approach to bringing sobriety into your everyday life. The on-site chef creates incredible and healthy dishes to help you enjoy your new life of sobriety. They promote exercising daily, provide ample education and support, the counselors and staff are absolutely amazing, and having a smaller group of only 6 or less allows them to show genuine care and support to each client. I fully recommend this facility. It is very comfortable, friendly, thorough, and affordable (you could pay the same price down the street and get eggs out of a carton or slop Sunday). It's worth the investment to better your or a loved one's life.
