About Treatment Center

Located in Augusta, Maine, Kennebec Behavioral Health offers treatment for Addiction, Alcohol Abuse and Drug Abuse. The addiction specialists at our multi-licensed treatment facility administers a comprehensive assessment to the patient in order to determine the best course of action for their treatment plan. We offer Outpatient, Outpatient methadone/buprenorphine or vivitrol and Regular outpatient treatment that are customized to suit the patients’ needs. In these treatment plans, we teach addicts how to develop coping skills so that they can learn to deal with any situation that comes their way without resorting to drugs or alcohol as a means for a temporary escape. It is within these coping skills that will ensure the success of an addict’s recovery. Our treatment approaches include Cognitive/behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy and Rational emotive behavioral therapy. At Kennebec Behavioral Health, we believe that anyone can recover, despite how deep they are in their addiction. We will do everything in our power to help our patients heal from the wounds inflicted by addiction. We treat Adolescents and accept Medicaid and Medicare, plus many other insurances. We are here to help break the cycle of addiction so that our patients can get their lives back on track. For the convenience of the patient, we have Services for the deaf and hard of hearing that will make their stay here more comfortable and enjoyable.
