Since 1993, Maryland Community Health Initiatives, Inc. (Penn North) has been providing comprehensive mental health care and treatment for substance use disorders. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the facility is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, and welcomes walk-ins.
Penn North offers a variety of services, including substance abuse treatment and acudetox, a treatment where five small needles are placed in the ear while clients sit in a group setting for about 45 minutes, allowing them to meditate or relax.
