Overview

SSTAR - Stanley Street, Located in Fall River, Massachusetts, offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with alcohol and substance addiction.

SSTAR has established the Triage Center to enhance immediate access to treatment services for opioid and other substance use disorders and to reduce the unnecessary utilization of emergency care., and decrease health disparities among those affected.

The Triage Center team is available seven days a week, at least ten hours a day, to assist addicts and their families in navigating the treatment system. 

The interdisciplinary team offers walk-in medical triage, addiction assessment, and connections to inpatient and outpatient treatment. Each individual is evaluated for safety and treatment needs, ensuring they are linked to the most appropriate treatment options.

Family members receive support and education to better care for themselves and support their loved one’s recovery. The center also promotes overdose prevention strategies, including public education and increased access to Naloxone to reduce overdose fatalities.

Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 10 PM, and weekends from 9 AM to 6 PM.
