Region IV Mental Health - MR

Region IV Mental Health Services, situated in Iuka, Mississippi, provides a comprehensive selection of substance abuse and behavioral health services to individuals of all ages. This center offers care that fosters independence and well-being to individuals of all ages in five Mississippi counties: Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, and Desoto. 

The center's programs encompass outpatient services, crisis stabilization units, residential care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Their treatment options include psychosocial rehabilitation, psychiatric services, case management, and individual, group, and family therapy. Furthermore, the center offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to individuals with substance use disorders, which includes comprehensive counseling and FDA-approved medications such as methadone and Suboxone. 

Services such as NFusion and MYPAC, which promote adolescent mental health, and HUD-subsidized housing for individuals with mental illness who are capable of independent living, are examples of specialized programs. Region IV also concentrates on services for intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), providing supported employment programs and day habilitation.
