Just ok

Jarrett Eagle, 1 year ago

My experience here was ok but not great. Mellissa, Rob, Dan, Raul, and the new Director and the new nurse Brenda were awesome. Except for some he say she say that got to the nurse manager which was completely wrong. They are working on things to get better but the time I came in the ones who shouldn't have been there were still there. I'm all for recovering addicts working in the facility but they used their authority to cuss at us or treat us any way but they fail to realize they once we're in our position. Those were Blue, Sandy, Nicole, Ronnie I don't know if he was a recovering addict but he was not nice at all. I'm not saying don't give this place a chance they are trying to better the facility but I wanted to put my experience down. I really wanted to go home when they said I could but a day later I had delayed withdrawals and ended up in the Er. Didn't even know that exsisted. But everyone has different experiences hope yours is better than mine. Good luck.

Yes, this is a new facility and they seem to be working out the kinks associated with opening a new establishment, but they genuinely care about their patients. All the staff seems to be in recovery as well, so everyone you encounter can provide good and helpful advice. They can be difficult to reach by phone, particularly during shift changes, but just keep calling and someone will eventually answer. I don't have insurance and was so thankful for this experience. It was incredibly positive. Ronny, Purple, the male nurse and all the rest of the staff are wonderful people. I can't say enough good things about this place!!!

First and foremost I would love to start by thanking Cenikor in North Austin(Directors, Counselors, Techs, Kitchen crew and Medical staff)with all my heart and life. This place is definitely a place for change and peace of mind. It is 12 step based, the Counselors are very down to earth, and experienced. My whole time there everybody showed a true geniue concern for my recovery, well being and happiness. I truly miss this place and will always carry y'all in my heart. I truly recommend this place to anybody that is SERIOUS about their recovery. Remember anything in life is only as good as what YOU make it. PS...The food is really good too.
