Ascend is where you go to grow. When it comes to growth and expansion you must go through both tears of joy as well as tears of discomfort and pain. The people here at Ascend know how to create a safe space to do just that. In my time here I have experienced such a great amount of empathy, love, and compassion from everyone. I can sense that all of the staff here really want to see their clients progress and succeed and with that comes such a supportive environment. They have led me towards a brighter, healthier looking future.

Ascend has given me more than I could ever ask for. They have literally saved my life twice. They have shown me things about myself that I would have never found. They gave me a second chance and believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I am grateful forever! I don't have the words to explain my gratitude. Thank you Ascend!!

Ascend is the only drug rehabilitation (long term) solution that has actually worked - and shows the exciting side of recovery and gives you the evidence that it IS possible. They also gave me the flexibility to make mistakes (which will be made) Staff is very caring , personable, and compassionate about what they do . I have scoured the country over the past 2 decades looking for help and this is THE only place I've found to give me "real world" applications. five stars.

If you are in need of exceptional dual diagnosis treatment come to Ascend Recovery. I did, 4 years ago, a shell of a man; I lived to drink, and drank to live. I thought I was beyond hope and I had accepted that I would die an alcoholic’s death. Little did I know, that one month into their program, I would be making a six month commitment to sobriety, not just to appease my family, but for ME. With the guidance of some of the most professional and caring therapists I have ever had the pleasure of working with, that six months has blossomed into 4 years of continuous sobriety. And it’s not just the therapists, the entire staff is caring, from the cooks through the graveyard staff. Sobriety takes commitment, humility, and deep insight; Ascend Recovery embodies all of these things for their clients. They offer services well beyond the termination of inpatient treatment at no cost to their alumni, which just goes to show the level of commitment they are willing to put forward for you or your loved ones. Ascend saved my life and for that I am forever grateful.

I literally would not be alive today if it wasn't for Ascend. I came to Utah 6 years ago and was against everything that Ascend had to offer me. They were patient and willing to deal with all my negativity. They saw through my lies and helped me find the underlying problems in my life that I tried to fix with drugs and alcohol. The therapy I received there was top notch and they continued to support me throughout the process after I left Ascend. They didn't give me my life back, they provided me with the tools to obtain a life that I never imagined I could have. If you're even the slightest bit willing to try something new, Ascend will do whatever they can to help you succeed. I believe in the Ascend program so much that I have been working there for the last 5 years and am honored to be an alumni.

Wonderful treatment center. I can't say enough about the staff. Not only are they extremely, caring, patient, and understanding, they provide individualized care to meet each clients' unique needs. I currently work in addiction treatment and recommend Ascend to my clients. Offering multiple levels of treatment with increasing responsibility is a proven method in addiction treatment: Inpatient>Transitional>Sober Living/IOP; and Ascend has been modeling this for years. And they have amazing, healthy home cooked meals which is a major plus!

Don't listen to the few bad reviews. The majority of the reviews are 5 stars on every review site I've seen, and they are correct. This treatment center saved my life. I went there when I was 19. After completing the program, I relapsed, and they welcomed me back with open arms and no judgement. I have now been sober 18 months and I can truly say, without Ascend, I would be dead. The therapists are top notch, the owner(Ryan Salter) truly cares about you, even if he's bad at showing it. I regularly attend their aftercare program, and have been for the past 3 years. The 3 steps of treatment(In patient>Transitional>Sober Living) is what really separates Ascend from other treatment centers. By doing this, they slowly give you more responsibility as you get back on your feet. Most places will do 30 days, take your money, and kick you to the curb. Not Ascend. You can call any staff member, from any level of care(including the owner) 24/7 and they will be there to help. I have never experienced a treatment center that cares as much as Ascend does. After completing the program, I have continued to live in Salt Lake City and attend AA meetings. What really sticks out to me is how many Ascend alumni are in those meetings, and have managed to string together a good amount of clean time. Even though Ascend is smaller than most other treatment centers in Utah, they have more alumni with years of sobriety than any other treatment center in Utah. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
