The hotel was nice with an old world feel to it, you get the sense for the age of it as you walk down the halls. The room was comfy with a soft bed and to my surprise a claw foot tub in a large bathroom. The breakfast in the restaurant was good.

Great food, nicely plated. Generous portions. Many improvements in the dining room, including upgraded china, glassware and silver. Many dining room upgrades. Colors are soothing and add to dining experience. Our server Mal did an excellent job. Will definitely come back and share with others.

The only reason I went as high as three stars is that the food was fantastic. We went there to eat with a reservation for a large group (18 people) and got seated in a reasonable amount of time. We then waited and waited and waited. It took the first 40 minutes just to get water for everyone. It wasn't that the waiter was necessarily bad but more that in this half full restaurant their was only two wait people and the other seemed to only be catering to one table the entire time we were there, leaving our waiter to handle the rest of the restaurant. This place really needs to consider a new restaurant manager because it was obvious the one there was completely inept and could not even handle the job of pitching in with filling glasses.

What a wonderful creepy place to stay. For the age of this place is in great shape. The food and service are both top notch. This stay was like stepping in to a time machine and going back 112 years. It has had some updates but you still get that early 1900's look and feel. I'm going back some day!
