Yep, I see the 1 Star posts because of this week's media coverage of the lady discharged. I wanted to provide a different perspective. My father recently passed away at Midtown. It was his time. But, I can't say enough about the care that was provided by the staff. So, to hear the rage being expressed, I wanted to say to the staff that you all are phenomenal with tough jobs. To have your reputations defined by an incident doesn't seem fair. But, professionals have to work through that. A message to everyone else about the media. Baltimore is my hometown and I think it's a great place to live. Unfortunately, the media only serves themselves to do everything they can to release people's rage. The more rage, the more clicks and viewership, and the more money they make. This week's story is obviously horrible. However, given my experience with the hospital's care in the past, I want to know more. I refuse to be a pawn of the media so they can make their money and run, leaving the carnage behind. I want to know the whole story. To the hospital staff at Midtown, keep your heads high and let's hope this facility is not closed down. Your community needs you and appreciates you.

My husband was in here for 2 days. He was on the 4th floor, South wing. The nurses and techs were very nice and helpful. They made our stay pleasurable. The nurses and staff that prepared him for eye surgery were a pleasure also. If you ever need a good eye doctor, go see Dr. Grumbine. I highly recommend him.

My first time going to this hospital was to have my vascular surgery. The staff was amazing I never felt so welcome in a hospital in my life. They introduced me to everyone in that department. My nuser and the young lady in training stayed by myside the whole time. I pray I never half to go back to the hospital. But mudtown will be definitely my hospital of choice.
