I have a long experience with Long Term Care, as I started my nursing career in LTC. The facility deserves a 4; the Administrator deserves a 2. Both of my parents are residents there. The current interim Administrator is extremely unprofessional. I went to Boulder from Dallas to visit my parents and speak to the Administrator. I waited two hours to speak to her. She was made aware, by her staff, several times, of me needing to speak to her. She never acknowledged my existence. Even in my presence she turned her back on me as a staff member again pointed out that I was waiting. She totally ignored me. I am not usually a person who posts reviews; this is the first. But I am appalled at her lack of interest and lack of concern and total disregard for a relative of two residents. This woman's total lack of professionalism is glaring. She is the face of the facility and as such, puts forth a negative connotation due to her behavior. I have called corporate and lodged a complaint. This woman must have some capacity or she would not be there, but at the moment it clearly eludes me.

I visit there once per month for my church. I've found the staff very friendly and helpful. I admire them for the challenges they face.

I went there to visit my grandmother last week and was shocked with the changes since I was there in February, a completely new management staff that have clearly made some changes for the better. However, it continues to frustrate me that when I call to get updates on my grandmother no one ever answers the phone. I talked to the management about this and the unit manager apologized and provided me with her personal cell number if I am unable to get through to the unit where grandma lives. No one ever wants to put their loved ones in a home but after seeing such positive changes I am glad we picked boulder manor!

Boulder Manor is a place I enjoy visiting . Is it the perfect best place EVER with 0 % issues? No what place is? Is it a place that WANTS to be perfect? Yes! Is it a place that cares about what needs fixed ? Yes . When I visit I am always greeted with a smile and a hello. When I ask for help I have no problem finding a willing hand! I continue to see Boulder Manor Team moving towards being the best at Loving and caring for their Residents and each other.

I don't have personal experience of being cared for here, but my friend was so happy to come back to this "lively" place after being transferred to another facility that she hated. She has a greater appreciation, in perspective, for the care she receives from the staff and I can attest to their friendliness (and helpfulness & cleanliness) upon my recent visit.
