Thomas is the best bartender ever! He was not only a great bartender, but a great person as well. Made our experience there even better! Ask for Thomas!

I have great memories of this place from when I lived in DC. Hung out here with some friends who were visiting from FL and we had a blast. The venue is spacious and has interesting items adorning the walls. Sure, it's hard to park here, but who can't use a little exercise walking? The music is great and there's also an awesome pie place called Dangerously Delicious in walking distance. I recommend you go here and walk east a little to get to Dangerously Delicious.

Have lived in the building about a year now, and have been enjoying it thus far. Great location H Street, affordable prices, and a great management team. The maintenance team, especially Fahim is awesome as well, they respond quickly and are extremely professional.

Great venue, great sound. Had a really wonderful time and I would like to go again. My only complaint, which is a big one, there isn't any parking. They don't even have a recommendation regarding, you're just up a creek trying to figure it out. Ended up paying a decent amount at a shady spot nearby. So, Uber / lyft if that is an option for you. We travel too far for that.

I moved into Ava on H about a week ago and love my apartment. I wanted to expedite the move-in process and Stephanie was very accommodating - she walked me through the process and helped me move in about a week after seeing the apartment. The building and the neighborhood are beautiful but what makes Ava H Street stand out are its employees. I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating staff here.

I've been at Ava H for about 2 weeks now and I can honestly say it's been incredible! Prior to move-in, my roommate and I had lots to questions and information we needed. We were working with Stephanie the whole time, and she was nothing short of amazing. Always so friendly, helpful, and just such an awesome person to work with throughout the process. I've never had such an incredible experience working with an apartment community in my life. Even post move-in, she (as well as Corey!) have still been incredible, helpful, and have responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. I would highly highly recommend this comminity as, not only are the apartments themselves awesome, but the staff is absolutely top-notch. Not to mention the outstanding location. Looking forward to hopefully continue living here for years to come!

This is a great building to live in if you are looking for your first apartment in DC. The neighborhood is safe, and is easily accessible to Capitol Hill and the Union Station metro stop. The staff at Ava H Street are extremely helpful and do a great job of providing socializing opportunities with the other tenants in the building. Additionally, the gym and public spaces are well kept. If you are calling about potential vacancies, ask for Corey Stringer! He is a great resource and is willing to help in any way he can.

Went there for a service call with my employer. Don't know what shows are like here but the place is fantastic. 3 or 4 floors, bars on every one and even a rooftop bar. Very nice venue

I just moved in and I absolutely love it here. Great building and location! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Thank so much to Stephaine and Corey for all your help! I love my new home!

Great place to see a show. Two levels and a roof top bar. A bar on every level. Second level is pretty busy after the show. Was pretty packed on a Saturday night. Had A DJ after the show. Good bar food. Roof top bar has igloos to stay cozy in on those cold winter nights. Special winter drinks to help keep you warm. Heaters also near the bar area to keep you comfortably warm.

The desk staff, Corey and Stephanie are friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is fantastic, especially Fahim. I really appreciate that he will fix anything on request and he does a great job. He makes sure things are fixed. I like living at Ava H street. Great staff, building, and location.

This is my first time living away from family and I am so glad, I chose to live here! The whole apartment community is, in a word, 'cozy'. I feel safe here. Love the common area and the proximity to Giant and Union station. The management and staff are friendly, approachable, and most importantly efficient. I have lived here over a month now and every question or issue I have had- be it maintenance or lease related has been taken care of seamlessly. Jason and Corey have been very patient and super helpful. If I put in a work order, Fahim has shown up and fixed the problem within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
