Who cares to admit complete utter and defeat, followed by the recognition that now you need to ask for help? Footprints to Recovery took me in, not only as a patient, but as an individual who had a better life out there for herself, but did not know how to get there. After an assement with a down-to-earth counselor, who actually cared about my life and how she could personally help me, Footprints made a treatment plan for me that involved outpatient treatment, 3 nights a week, 3 hours a night, based off of my previous inpatient care at another facility and my work schedule at the current time. Footprints to Recovery is phenomenal in what they do as they used several forms of therapy. Each treatment session I participated in group therapy, relaxation and meditation, dual diagnosis mental health seminars, communication classes, and one on one sessions with my assigned counselor. To be effective and successful, Footprints understands that your life will not change overnight, thus the facility recommended a minimum of three months for my addiction treatment. I started at Footprints to Recovery in May of 2016 and graduated in August of 2016. I have since stayed sober and continue to call my old counselor once a month as well as speak to current inpatients to give them my experience, strength, and hope that you can recover from addiction.

Footprints to Recovery really has changed my life for the better. The whole staff is amazing and willing to work with each client on an individual basis. The program has grown expotentially since I started treatment and still managed to hold that gold standard of care for clients as a whole and on the individual level. This program really has helped me transition back into the world while maintaining my sobriety. This program has honestly saved my life and I'm forever grateful to the staff and fellow clients who have come into contact with at Footprints to Recovery! Also I love that they encourage clients who have successfully completed the program to come back an visit as alumni.
